World Cup Team Pursuit (Moscow)
16-Dec-2006

Men's Team Pursuit
Courteousy of British Cycling and Larry Hickmott

It was gold for the Recycling quartet of Clancy, Thomas, Manning & Newton in the Team Pursuit. They qualified fastest in 4:05.911 and went even faster in beating Russia in the final, where they recorded a stunning 4:03.275. It was a very competitive event with no less than six teams going under 4 minutes 10 seconds, including the youngish (sorry Rob!) GB quartet of Cavendish, Hayles, Sander and Tennant, who finished fifth overall.
